Bryan Whitehurst
President
Bryan became the second generation to join the family business when in high school and college he began learning the trade by working summers in the field. After completing his undergraduate degree at James Madison University in 2000, Bryan started working full-time estimating and project managing. In 2003 Bryan was announced Vice-President, and by 2010 he became President. Upon his father’s retirement, Bryan became the majority stockholder. Since becoming a leader at SMI, Bryan’s main focus has always been to provide the best in customer service, quality workmanship, and most importantly taking great care of his employees.
Bryan, along with his wife, Donielle, and their two daughters, Peyton and Ava, resides in the Hickory area of Chesapeake, VA.
